What happened to the orignal “Amy”? “Amy” sure seems racey in this episode.

Three movies aired on NBC the year after CBS cancelled the original series. NBC wanted an updated theme and title graphics so that viewers would understand that these weren’t reruns.

I never saw this episode on TV either. I am so glad to have finally seen it. That show, corny as some people like to think it was, truly did an awful lot to bring family values and the love of family to millions of people. You’ve heard of “comfort food”, well this is “comfort TV” at it’s best!
