Sorry to hear about your mothers illness. Hope you get more mothers day with her. I lost my father to illness on 29th of January this year and even if I knew he would be going soon there is so much I wish I had said or done. So I hope you will treasure the time you have left and say and do what you would like to NOW.
Sad moments paul..i know how you must feel. i had massive stroke in my 20′s and it made me see things from a different perspective so the point of life is enjoy it why you are here, our love to your mom dude! and im still going over 20 years later
what a HORRIBLE thing to think & say! they said that about my dad 8 years in a row & i still can’t get over it. at least you say it to her face & there’s an atmosphere of open honesty & affection.
I feel for you. My Mom passed away last year. She had Diabetes which led to vascular disease which her blood vessels started to close off. She passed away after having a stroke and heart attack at the same time but held on for a month in the hospital.
@renetto Then I know where she is. With my Mom it was a constant balancing act, trying to keep her blood sugar stabilized. One wrong blink, and they’re flat on the floor and off to the ER.
I think it’s great that you managed to capture this, and get her to let down her “protective shell” just a bit and share a little of herself with the camera and with us. She’s a treasure.
@anmoose My mom is giving her self 3 shots a day and things have been pretty bad the last few months. Believe it or not, this is the most my mom has ever let me film of her. I’m so happy to have this video, and to be able to share it, and her, with all of you makes me so happy:)
Renetto, your sister is very pretty! I am sorry to hear that your mother is ill. It doesn’t matter if our mama’s aren’t dressed…they are always beautiful to us. Your mother is beautiful and sweet! Bless her heart. My sister had Diabetes (Juvenile). What a lovely card your nephew gave your sister! Love that quote!!! What a handsome couple your parents were/are! Happy Mother’s Day to your precious, beautiful mother (BIG hugs & waves)!!!
We never know, Paul, which one may be the last, so we’d better cherish each one as if it were. My own Mom, in her 70s, was extremely diabetic, she learned to administer her own shots. Arthritis was causing her bones to crumble; she had a hip replacement. Cataracts were making her blind, she had corneal transplants. The whole family gathered for her 80th birthday celebration, she had a gala time, and a month later, like flipping a light switch, she just shut down. A massive stroke, and *poof*.
man… i’m really emotive right now, i’m crying my ass out… your sister and mom are really beautifull, your mom feels so nice and fun to be with, i dont know if i’m crying cus im sad or cus i’m happy, i have seen the other mom video a long time ago, i think i’m gonna rewached it take care, thanks so so much, Portugal is waiting for you with a little tear of joy ;~)
