Your wedding is one of the most memorable days in your life. Hence, it is important to put some thought and preparation in choosing a wedding hairstyle. How do you choose a hairstyle that is suitable for your big day?

Step 1
When choosing your wedding hairstyle, you must consider your hair type and texture. This is not the time to try to go against the natural tendency of your hair. If you were born with thick, curly hair, you perhaps shouldnt go for a stick straight wedding hairstyle because it would be hard to get your hair to cooperate, plus, it would be hard to keep the hairstyle through all the activities you will be taking part in during the day. Similarly, if you plan to obtain perm, don’t try to force your straight hair to be super curly just for your big day. Because, when you go out into the heat and humidity, those curls are perhaps going to become limp and lackluster.

Step 2
Should you wear your hair up or leave it hanging freely? This depends on your personality as well as the outfit you are going to wear on your big day. If you never tried to wear your hair up, your wedding days perhaps not the time to start. Actually, any radical change in your hairstyle is almost certainly not a good pick. If you have long hair and are comfortable wearing it up, it can look dazzling pulled back into a simple chignon.

Step 3
Add some stunning hair accessories or flowers and you are sure to look the part of the well-dressed bride. If wearing your hair up has never been your style, wear your long hair down with a few, simple free curls. But make sure you consider the outfit you are going to wear on your big day. If you are wearing a high necked dress, a classic up do gives a very dazzling look. If you are wearing a lower cut or strapless dress, long hair may soften the look a bit.

Step 4
Make sure you choose a wedding hairstyle early. Start collecting photos of wedding hairstyles you like. Take photos with you when visiting your hairdresser, so that your hairdresser can get an idea of what type of wedding hairstyle you are looking for. You also want your hairstyle to be in accordance with your dress. Hence, early planning is most important. Bridal magazines, catalogs, celebrity wedding photos, and hair style magazines are some of the good places to find ideas for wedding hairstyles.

Step 5
It is significant to be realistic when choosing your wedding hairstyle. You are going to be active for up to 10-11 hours, dancing and conversing with the public and thus you want a hair style that will hold up to all of the activities. This is to be a day of celebration! Dont let your hair be a distraction.

The Move playin’ flowers in the rain. Late 60′s

Table centrepieces can be as expensive as you dare, with fresh flowers and great height and drama, but there are alternatives to the dramatic and extravagant. Take inspiration from some of the newest ideas in table centrepieces.

Eclectic wedding tables

Create a unqiue feel for your event by dressing each table differently. Use different flowers, candles and elements from the one theme to create a real sense of personality. For example, this design style works wonderfully with a vintage theme – combine mismatched crockery, jugs and candles with plenty of vintage-style blossoms to fill tables.

Visit an antiques fair, your local flea market or your grandmother’s cupboards to pick up plenty of vases and trinkets to add personality to your tables.

Monochromatic wedding tables

The classic, crisp design of the monochromatic look is still the most modern tablepiece theme you can choose. If the mod look appeals to you, choose a black and white backdrop and add splashes of colour for contrast, such as buttercup yellow or flashy pink.

Think about height, drama, the whitest of white blooms and plenty of black crockery on crisp white linen.

Wedding centrepieces from your own backyard

As the world goes green, brides are taking inspiration from their own backyards. Go outside and look at your backyard from a fresh perspective. Do you have twigs, greens, flowers and bark that could be used in a creative centrepiece? Take some gorgeous gumnuts and wattle and lay them on the tables in a very natural display with a few ivory and chocolate candles.

Casting a glow

The warm candelight glow has always added romance to a room. Floral artists take this further by incorporating candles into centrepiece decorations. Think tall, full arrangements of cherry blossom branches, hung with votives or glass candle holders on ribbon or wire-like hangers. Or imagine tall cylinders filled with coloured water to match the wedding palette, and small floating candles flickering in each.

Christmas decorations all year round

Forgetting Santa, his reindeer, sleds and sleighbells, many gorgeous Christmas decorations are very appropriate out of season for weddings and other events. Christmas baubles, wreaths and sprays make fabulous table and room decorations and the traditional Christmas colours of red, green and gold needn’t limit you. Contemporary Christmas colours of teal, peacock, pearl and diamonds are instant winners out of the festive season and you can pick them up cheaply at the after-Christmas sales!

Paper lanterns – budget with big impact

The simple paper lantern packs an enormous decorating punch. Whether you’re decorating a dinner table or a dance floor, the rice paper lantern will dazzle and delight your wedding guests. They also come in many sizes, colours and styles. Big ball lanterns start from as low as $6 a piece, so they won’t break the bank, even if you purchase them in bulk.

The best part? Paper lanterns can be packed down, stored and re-used for your next big shindig.

Eco-chic wedding tables

Living centrepieces demonstrate their care for the environment. If your theme is green, choose beautiful little wheatgrass pots or spring-time bulbs to decorate your table. Package up some seed packets as your wedding favour, and you’ll give your guests a living reminder of your love and special day.

Back to your childhood

The oh-so-divine lolly table is becoming a huge hit for wedding receptions and showers where guests fill up their own container with a selection of themed sweets, little gumball machines for each guest, or grandma’s favourite recipe cookies.

Balloons

Party planners from around the world are taking the humble balloon and making it the coolest wedding decorating accessory. Take giant bulbous balloons filled with helium and use them to decoratemarquees and tables. Secure with your floral centrepiece or in a vase of sweets for a truly whimsical look. Cheap, beautiful and fun!

Place Card Holders take centre stage

Little place card holders can become the centrepiece of your table decorations. Some of the latest designs include miniature bird cage lanterns for a garden themed wedding, little grand pianos for a black tie or Opera-themed event, and Eiffel Tower themed place card holders, a stunning way to decorate your tables for a French- or travel-themed wedding or event.

Personalised Wedding Vases

The latest wedding table centrepiece phenomenon is the personalised vase which can be printed with the bride and groom’s names, wedding date, table number and more.

You choose the design and the colour to create a unique table centrepiece which not only looks sensational, but also will become a keepsake to use in your home.

Hove Festival, Norway, June 2008 Song is formerly known as “Dancer” – thx to kdeth and grundletron3030 for video and thx to the0ctagon for new song title Entire Hove set Mp3′s found here: www.mediafire.com **** LYRICS: **** Met a dancer Who was high in a field From her movement Caught my breath on my way home Couldn’t stop that spinning force I felt in me, Everything around seemed to giggle glee She walked up with a flower and I cared Found a dancer Who gets wild to the beats of the rhythm But I’m always away for weeks that pass slow My mind gets lost Feeling envy for the kid who’ll dance despite anything I walk out in the flowers, and feel better ….If I could just leave my body for the night…. Then we could be dancing No more missing you while I’m gone There we could be dancing, And you’d smile and say, “I like this song” And when our eyes will meet there We will recognize nothing’s wrong And I wouldn’t feel so selfish I won’t be this way very long To hold you in time To hold you in time To hold you in time To hold you in time While we were dancing Early hours Drunken days finally ended And the streets turned for a pillowcase Then I fumbled our good lock Then the ecstasy turns to rising light Through our windowpane Now I’m gone I left flowers for you there

Cable tie was a very useful invention by Thomas & Betts. It took a long time from the first invention to get the actual cable tie which was required by the industrialists to tie their inventories. Many innovations took place and finally we now have the cable ties used by people on a daily basis.

The advantages of cable ties can be classified by looking as its use by different people in different walks of life. Producers of goods may use them for a different purpose and ordinary people for domestic use may find a lot of variety of uses for it.

A producer uses cable ties when he needs to ship or send his products from one place to another. In-transit goods have to be tied up properly so that any chance of theft, damage or misplacement becomes rare.

A retailer uses them to tie up the grocery bags and bags carrying other goods while he packs them for his customer. Most of the supermarkets now cannot do without it as the chance of a customer dropping his products out of the bags gets minimized. This extra precaution also attracts most people back to the store as the consumers think that the retailer is very meticulous in adhering to the needs of the customers in so many ways.

There are many artistic uses of cable ties too and some uses can be regarded as very innovative but quite funny. Flowers can be fastened together with cable ties especially at an outdoor function when big floral arrangements need o be done. A lot of clever artists have used cable ties to make baskets out of them various colors of cable ties have been use to weave attractive baskets and are available for sale to.

People have used them for domestic purposes like tying up garbage bags and various household things that are not in immediate use and need to be tied up and kept safely for some time. They prevent things from getting rusty, stale, and even insects or creepy crawlies can’t get in; which is a relief for the females. Many households use them for their Christmas decorations too in order to hold things together, thus preventing lights and decorations from falling off.

Other amazing uses around the house are: using cable ties as fasteners in times of emergency when shoe laces, zips break etc. To tie up costumes, during travelling, any event decoration stuff, to hold your food together while cooking etc.

Cable ties are an amazing invention and thus now a day’s people cannot do without it. It helps people around the house and has many industrial and in-transit uses that cannot be ignored. Without it producers and agents faced a lot of confusion in order to secure their goods and prevent pilfering. In retail outlets bags without cable ties can be marked as a sign of shoplifting too. It makes life easy and helps ordinary people in times of need. Cable ties surely are things worth having in your house!

whimsical-wendy.blogspot.com Hi this is my Mothers Day card design for this year. And for something new, I have made a batch of them to sellso if you want to get your hands on one, there are a few for sale at my Etsy Shop, WendyNasmithDesigns. The flowers on this card have been handmade by using a paper scraper by Making Memories, then scrunched up and lightly sanded to create the shabby chic effect. Theyve been worked so much the paper has almost a suede feel to itvery tactile! The bottom of the card is made out of vellum with the sentiment embossed in brown ink. The colour scheme is very Spring-like and reflects my mood and the weather here in Leicester when I made them! ;0) Thanks for watching, please rate & subscribe!!
